NEBOSH Process Safety Management

NEBOSH Process Safety Management

NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management is a specialized course certificate developed by NEBOSH in collaboration with the UK’s Health and Safety Executive (HSE), who is the professional regulatory body responsible for ensuring the health and safety of workers throughout the country. It provides students with an understanding of the management systems used to ensure that workers are safe at work through the implementation of robust safety policies, procedures, training, and equipment in their workplace.

This course would help learners identify hazards, implement effective controls, and respond appropriately to incidents in order to prevent injuries or ill health among employees and others.

It also aids in the reduction of environmental risks posed by chemical reactions and other industrial activities involving hazardous substances across all industries, including oil and gas, chemicals, plastics, and pharmaceuticals.

Who can take this course?

  • Managers
  • Employees
  • Supervisors
  • Safety representatives
  • Health and safety advisors

Employees working in the process industries of chemical, gas, oil, or nuclear power, as well as those in charge of maintaining process plants and equipment that use these hazardous materials or energy sources, can also undergo this training.

The course is designed for people working in a wide range of occupational settings, including those involved in cleaning, construction, building services, food preparation, healthcare, engineering, emergency services, environmental protection, manufacturing, mining, process industries, retail, waste management, transport, and many more.

Also, it helps people working in similar fields, such as engineering, chemical and process engineering, to understand how these industries manage their risk from chemical processes and hazardous materials handling to ensure the safe operations of their installations and products (both finished goods and services). Moreover, this course would be helpful for people who are planning to start a career in process risk management or are currently working in the industry. If you want to build a career in the process industry, then this course is for you!
