IOSH Training Workshop in India

The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) has organized a training workshop for the revision of IOSH material V5.0 and effective training delivery of IOSH Managing Safely courses. The workshop was conducted by Ms Julie Green, Quality Assurance Manager and Ms Kalpna Devabhai, Training Verifier. The event was started with an interesting icebreaker, includes the video about behavioral issue based accident, role play about the project, revised presentations and group chart activity on legal framework was informative and commendable. Project marking exercise and the outcome was discussed was quite useful. The ideas about auditing parameters was significant aspect to maintain and improvise the quality standards.
A short note was given on importance of Continual Professional Development (CPD) and Initial Professional Development (IPD) and emphasize on practicing in IOSH website helps a health and safety practitioner to stay updated. This also opens the opportunity for new avenues in the field of HSE.
