With close to three decades of Industry experience in the field of HSE, his forte lies in the Process Safety Management (PSM), Hazard Identification (HAZID), Incident Investigations and RCA, Risk Management, Permit to Work System (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Plant Shutdown Coordination, Emergency Response, Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA), etc.
Previous to his association with NIST, he held senior-level positions in prestigious organizations like Qatar Fertilizer Company (QAFCO), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL) and Force Motors, where he had gained wide exposure and proficiency in domains like chemical process safety (Ammonia, Urea, Melamine), power generation and automobile manufacturing.
For a major part of his career, he spearheaded the entire spectrum of operations of day-to-day field safety activities, emergency response functions, and security requirements.
