When we think or talk about Kerala, the pleasant things that come to our mind are mesmerizing scenaries, lush green forests, wildlife, waterfalls, awesome climate, and plastic-free eco environment. As Kerala is commonly referred as "God's Own Country", we are very much thankful to God to have a training center in Kochi. NIST's Kochi training center was started in the year 2011 to cater the safety training needs of people in and around Kerala. Our Kochi campus is set up in a picturesque site and blossoming environment, which is located at Express House on the Banerji Road, Kaloor. Some of the well-known landmarks like Indian Express Building, Gokulam Park, Reserve Bank of India, and Ernakulam Town bus stop are in close proximity to our training center. Students from neighboring towns and villages like Fort Cochin, Mattanchery, Edapally, Vytilla, Vennala, Tevara etc. can reach and locate the training center without any pain and effort, thanks to its well encompassed public and private transportation facilities. And also it has excellent road, rail, sea and air links to various destinations across India. With a building area of 1300 sq.ft., our campus includes range of facilities like well ventilated, lit, airy and spacious classrooms with interactive teaching aids to make teaching-learning more effective and enjoyable, library with wide range of books, references and case studies, ergonomically designed individual tables and chairs for students to make them independent and self-reliant, separate cafeteria for relaxing and enjoying refreshments. To prove academic excellence, our Kochi training center has successfully trained a total of 2805 candidates in NEBOSH, IOSH and other safety courses.
